Foodie Guide to Lunar New Year 2025 at Disneyland Resort

Get ready to ring in the Year of the Snake because Lunar New Year is coming back to Disneyland Resort! From Jan. 17 to Feb. 16, 2025, join in on this joyous (and tasty) celebration honoring Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures. All throughout Disney California Adventure Park, take part in the festivities with characters in their Lunar New Year attire, lively entertainment, the Lunar New Year Wishing Wall, and plenty of delicious bites.

The culinary teams have drawn inspiration from these cuisines to bring guests a can’t-miss line up to kick off the Year of the Snake. With returning delights like the beloved Garlic Noodles and Strawberry Milk Tea Macaron, to soon-to-be favorites like the Spicy Gochujang Chicken Tacos and the Snake Sourdough Bread, guests will be going into this year full and satisfied!

For greater value on foodie travels, guests can choose to purchase a Sip and Savor Pass. This scannable pass, available in six-digital coupon versions, can be redeemed for select bites and non-alcoholic beverages from the Lunar New Year Marketplaces and participating dining locations in Disney California Adventure Park. Guests can even use it throughout the entirety of this year’s festival and share with their friends and family. The passes this year are available in three new, limited-edition, collectible designs that pay homage to either Chinese, Vietnamese or Korean cultures—and feature some favorite Disney characters in culturally-inspired outfits designed by artist Ann Shen. When guests purchase their passes at locations including Elias & Co., Julius Katz & Sons, and Seaside Souvenirs, they can let a Cast Member know which limited design they want!

And for those wanting a simple way to pay as you snack, they can try the festival-themed Disney Gift Cards. They simply load it and wear it on their wrist for quick and easy scanning when they purchase all their festival favorites.

Without further ado, lets get to our favorite part – the food! Here is a first look at all the tasty bites and sips coming to this year’s Lunar New Year Celebration at Disneyland Resort.
